About the Operation Physiotherapy Dalarna is a region-wide unit within Region Dalarna's healthcare that conducts physiotherapy operations at hospitals in Falun, Ludvika, and Mora. The operations are conducted in both inpatient and outpatient care and encompass interventions within many different diagnostic and competency areas. The operation's mandate also includes training initiatives for healthcare personnel, development work, and work-based training for students. Physiotherapy Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and Rheumatology is responsible for physiotherapeutic interventions in geriatric rehabilitation, rehabilitation medicine, and rheumatology at Falun Hospital. The operation is characterized by close collaboration with patient care clinics, high competence, and close teamwork with other professions. The work group describes itself as a group that collaborates well and ensures they have fun together, learn from each other, and respect each other's differences. We are in an exciting development phase where physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work, speech-language pathology, and dietetics operations are undergoing joint organizational development. As department manager, you will be an important part of this development work. Responsibilities As first line manager, you have overall responsibility for the department's operations, personnel, and finances. A large part of your work involves collaboration with other operations and care partners. You will be part of the operation's management group together with other first line manager colleagues, operations developers, and the operations manager. You are expected to actively contribute to developing future rehabilitation and transitioning to good and accessible care. An important part of the assignment is to collaborate with colleagues to develop a more cohesive rehabilitation chain and create a long-term sustainable organization. Qualifications We are looking for you as a communicative and attentive leader. You have good self-awareness and the ability to create good collaboration, build strong relationships, and lead through change. You have good ability to structure and plan your work and have a genuine interest in the operation's daily activities and employees' conditions. Requirements License in a healthcare profession Experience working in healthcare Good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing Driver's License Category B Meritorious Basic education as a Physiotherapist or other rehabilitation profession Formal management and leadership training Previous management experience or other leadership assignment in healthcare, preferably in rehabilitation operations Experience with change management The assignment is a limited-term management appointment for three years with permanent employment in your basic profession.
