We are now looking for personal assistants for a young 19-year-old girl who needs additional assistants who can work daytime, evenings, or nights. The user lives in a villa in Häggvik, Sollentuna, approximately a four-minute walk from the train station. The user lacks her own mobility and needs help with all aspects of her daily life, such as diaper changes, nutrition via PEG tube, motor training, and more. She uses a standing frame, a commode chair, and a corset. She cannot express herself verbally and cannot communicate verbally, but after some time working with her, it becomes possible to understand her and her needs. Your work tasks should focus on ensuring she lives a dignified life and experiences well-being. Together, as far as possible, we can prevent deterioration of her health and quality of life. It is important to have a warm heart, but also a cool head that can guide that warm heart. The warm heart represents empathy, solidarity, and humanity, and in combination with structure and professionalism, the assistance can yield the best possible results. We are looking for someone who: - Speaks and writes Swedish well - Is social, positive, and enjoys creating a warm, pleasant atmosphere in daily life - Understands what it means to become part of a new family and become a natural part of the team - Is flexible, proactive, and self-directed – you see what needs to be done and tackle it with joy - Is playful, has a sense of humor, and loves having fun with both children and adults - Has great patience and calmness even when things get a bit chaotic or intense - Is completely tobacco and smoke-free - Is not allergic to cats (the cat is an important part of the family ♥) At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction with the customer and have access to training in the role of personal assistant. About the Employment The employment is hourly work with hourly pay. Varying hours including day, evening, and weekend shifts. Weekdays: 07:00–14:00, 14:00–21:00, and 21:00–07:00. The client requires dual assistance around the clock, which means you will always work alongside another personal assistant. The work involves providing support and help with both personal care and medical procedures included in the assignment. About the Assignment The client has extensive personal assistance needs.
