"M" communicates through a speech device and has very limited and unclear speech. Therefore, it is important that you have a strong foundation in the Swedish language. Your duties include assisting in all aspects—both planned and unplanned—of "M's" life. This includes close personal assistance such as intimate hygiene, oral hygiene, and dressing. It also includes accompanying "M" on various activities outside the home. In addition, you will handle all household tasks. As a personal assistant, you are a very important person in "M's" life. Qualities that describe you are that you are responsible—both toward "M's" needs and toward your colleagues regarding the execution of your duties. Furthermore, you are patient, meaning you take time to listen to "M's" needs and wishes, do not get stressed, and are prepared to adjust the schedule if needed.
