You will be an important support in his daily life – both at home and during activities outside the home, as you will assist him with both personal care and social activities. As an assistant, you will help with physical support and also provide some sight interpretation when the client uses his wheelchair, as he has limited vision. To fit this role, you need to take initiative and enjoy conversation. It's a plus if you enjoy watching sports or harness racing. An even bigger plus if you are a trained nursing assistant, though this is not required as personal chemistry is most important. For this role, you need to speak Swedish fluently. Working hours are scheduled during day, evening, and weekends. To reach the client, there is a bus stop nearby with good bus connections. If you have a car, free parking is available. We are looking for you to join our dedicated team and work as a personal assistant on an assignment in Järfälla. You will work alongside a colleague with shifts varying between day, evening, and active night shifts on a rotating schedule. As an assistant, you will support the user in all daily activities, including help with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, meal preparation, cleaning, and medical care. The assignment requires formal medical delegation. You will receive comprehensive introduction and training, but it is highly desirable if you have experience with suction equipment and cough assist machines.
