Our client is a positive boy who has a developmental delay that causes difficulties with motor skills and communication. He lives in Båstad with his mom, dad, and three younger siblings. The family lives an active and meaningful everyday life, where you as an assistant are involved. Helping with physical therapy, meals, and activities such as cycling are some of the work tasks. Sign language and pictures (TAKK/AKK) are used as supplementary communication. Experience with this is a plus but not a requirement. What is most important is that you are attentive, learn to interpret our client's expressions and body language, and that you click with our client and the family. We'll teach you the rest. Who are you? You are expected to have great empathetic ability and a good understanding of what appropriate interaction means. You have lots of energy, patience, and enjoy being outdoors. There is some lifting and activities at floor level, so you need to be in good physical condition and enjoy activating our client.
