About the Position The work is characterized by close collaboration, continuity, and a structured approach. You will help with personal care, meals, medication, hygiene, communication, play, and leisure activities. The client has extensive support needs and uses an eye-controlled computer as a communication aid. The work is performed where the client is located - at home, school, hospital visits, and other activities. The client lives alternately with her parents, which means the work takes place in both the mother's and father's homes. The family also has a dog, so you need to be comfortable with pets. We are looking for someone who can combine responsibility and confidence in medical situations with playfulness, creativity, and genuine engagement. It is equally important to be able to follow routines and instructions as it is to build train tracks, laugh, and discover the world together with the client. We are looking for you who . Employment Form and Working Hours We offer a permanent part-time position with a job share of approximately 50% or more. There is the possibility of a higher job share depending on agreement and the needs of the business. The employment begins with a probationary period of six months. If the collaboration works well, the employment will then transition to a permanent position. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Your task as a personal assistant is to support and assist a male person entitled to assistance in their daily life. The work includes dressing and undressing, support with hygiene, assistance with meals, help with household tasks, and delegated health and medical care tasks related to self-care. You are the assistance recipient's extended arm in daily life, which is why it is important that you are attentive to the individual's needs. The assignment also includes accompanying the person in various activities based on their interests. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily seeking someone who is a trained nursing assistant, has completed a child and leisure education program, or has an equivalent educational background. It is meriting if you have experience from the disability sector and possess knowledge of autism and delegated health and medical care tasks related to self-care. Similarly, knowledge and experience with TAKK and low-arousal approaches are viewed as meriting. As a personal assistant in this assignment, you need to be confident and clear in your professional role. You are attentive to the person's needs and interests and conduct yourself calmly and pedagogically. There is also a preference that you are physically strong, can work in a motivating manner, and preferably have a class B driver's license. We see that you have a good ability to speak and write Swedish fluently and that you have digital literacy, as our documentation is also important.
