About the role As Senior Security Technician, you will be one of the leading resources in the development of physical security at our Borlänge campus. About the Role You will take a central role in ensuring stable, safe, and efficient operation of the facility's electrical systems. The role is largely coordinative – approximately 70–80% involves planning, preparation, and follow-up – but you are also operationally active, moving between the desk and the technical work. The workday begins with a morning meeting where you review work orders in MaintMaster, our maintenance system. You plan, prioritize, and drive work from start to finish, both preventive and corrective measures such as switchgear service, backup power and UPS testing, and work on high and low voltage systems. You prepare work by developing methods, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring proper conditions, often with planned outages, customer communication, and contractor coordination as part of the process. You are responsible for work documentation and ensure that everything is carried out according to our procedures and safety requirements.
