Then we believe you should apply for this position! About Us Department 131, part of Psychiatry Northwest, is a general psychiatric care unit located at Danderyd Hospital. The department offers treatment and care for patients between 18–65 years of age who primarily suffer from depression, anxiety, personality disorders, suicidal ideation, self-harm behaviors, eating disorders, and crisis reactions. The department has a total of 19 care beds, including one bed for voluntary admission and six beds within the framework of National Highly Specialized Care (NHV) for difficult-to-treat self-harm behaviors. National Highly Specialized Care Since fall 2023, Psychiatry Northwest has provided NHV for difficult-to-treat self-harm behaviors in adults. The unit has a national mandate, meaning patients come from throughout Sweden via referral. Patients are offered individualized treatment where the entire care process is based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). All admissions are planned, and treatment includes both intensive outpatient care and 24-hour care. During daytime, patients receive day care/outpatient treatment, which currently takes place at Karolinska Hospital, where they travel with staff. Job Responsibilities As a night shift nurse with us, you will work in a team with nursing assistants. You will lead the care work and collaborate with your colleagues to offer the support our patients need to feel safe and achieve good sleep hygiene, using evidence-based methods. There is always a duty doctor on site in the building, as well as at least 4 nurse colleagues on our sister units to consult if needed. We use Take Care as our electronic health record system.
