Psychologist

• At least a higher university education with a master's degree or equivalent qualification; • Provide psychological assistance to students with various psychological problems and special educational needs; • Collaborate with teachers, special education teachers, social pedagogues, other specialists and students' parents (guardians, carers) and work with them as a team to address student issues; • Collaborate with specialists from the Pedagogical Psychological Service or Educational Support Service and other specialists working with the student, planning ways to achieve educational objectives and tasks, work in the Child Welfare Commission; • Consult with students having psychological, personal and educational problems, their parents (guardians, carers) on matters of resolving these problems; • Prepare individual recommendations for addressing students' psychological, personal and educational problems; • Participate in school prevention programs, create and foster an emotionally safe learning environment in the school, respond to violence and bullying according to the school's established procedures, supervise during breaks, address emerging learning and behavioral problems; • Conduct psychological assessments in the school taking into account the needs of the school community; • Maintain and complete individual consultation registration journals, individual support plans for students, documents for student evaluation at the Educational Support Service, parent request registration journals, records of conversations with parents and case descriptions of students; • Excellent computer skills; • Ability to gather, systematize, summarize information and prepare conclusions.
