In close collaboration with politics, the organization and external stakeholders, you lead the municipality's strategic development with a focus on quality, efficiency and long-term sustainability. You create clear conditions for governance and prioritization, balancing operations, finances and long-term needs. You drive work in line with Vision Lysekil 2030 and the Municipal Assembly's goals where collaboration and continuous development are guiding principles. The role also involves representing the municipality in various contexts and being a clear and outward-facing ambassador for Lysekils Municipality. You understand the value of regional collaboration, see its strategic importance and build trustful, long-term relationships both internally and externally. Lysekils Municipality collaborates with neighboring municipalities in Bohuslan in areas such as environment, IT, payroll administration, emergency services, and waste and recycling. The role requires a broad societal perspective and a good understanding of the municipality's overall mission. The role also includes handling crisis preparedness and civil defense matters, as well as contributing to good conditions for a strong business community and a continued attractive municipality. Qualifications You have an academic degree relevant to the role and several years of leadership experience at the strategic level. You have managed other managers and have had responsibility for operations, finances and personnel. To succeed in this role, you need experience in financial and operational management, as well as experience working in a politically controlled organization and collaborating with political representatives and union representatives. You have the ability to lead in complex situations, make well-founded and objective decisions and contribute with strong analytical ability, holistic perspective and excellent communication skills. As a leader, you are confident, clear and development-oriented, with the ability to create engagement and participation. You act with humility, respect and responsiveness and build trustful relationships both internally and externally. You contribute to creating fair and equitable processes. You create structure and stability even in times of change and foster a good collaborative climate where dialogue, collaboration and common direction are a natural part of the work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. The role requires that you have excellent ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing in Swedish. The position is classified in security class and security clearance will be conducted before employment according to the security protection law. Driver's license category B is required.
