Treatment Pedagogue, 24-Hour Shift, Hourly Temporary Position
About the Workplace Our facility is beautifully situated in northwestern Skåne. We welcome girls aged 15-21 years who are placed according to the Swedish Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act with Special Provisions for the Care of Young People (LVU). At Åsbo, we offer individual care (one-to-one) for girls who need a smaller setting and more comprehensive support. In collaboration with social services, we have the ability to tailor the approach around the specific young person. Our treatment work is based on evidence-based methods where Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) form a central part. Your Role As a treatment pedagogue, you will work individually with the young person to provide support and care in daily life. The goal is to establish a safe relationship where the young person is willing and able to receive the support offered. You will be part of a team that together structures the work around the young person, and our vision is that despite working independently, you should not feel alone. Your duties include practical tasks such as assistance with activities of daily living, meal preparation, cleaning, medication management, community contacts, and transportation. An important aspect is to motivate the young person to develop their unique strengths and build competence. You also play a role in promoting an active and meaningful leisure life, which requires energy and an ability to inspire. The work includes documentation. Qualifications To be qualified for the position with us, you must have: At least two years of post-secondary education in areas such as social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. Based on the target group and their needs, we welcome only female applicants for this position. Experience with the target group is a merit, as is knowledge of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and knowledge of Neuropsychiatric Disorders (NPF).
