Krkonoše National Park Administration Dobrovského 3 543 01 Vrchlabí is seeking a suitable candidate for a position in the project Management of Secondary Grasslands of Krkonoše National Park CZ.05.01.06/01/22_029/0002269 MEMBER OF FIELD WORK TEAM Role Description per Project: The work team consists of three seasonal employees performing area management activities (i.e., mowing, raking, hay baling, etc.) and other activities supporting mountain agriculture and improving the condition of meadow habitats in selected areas of Krkonoše enclaves. Duties: . implementation of designated work volume in the field at selected meadow sites in KRNAP . field work with hand-held equipment (brush cutter, walk-behind mower), i.e., carrier and attachments for mowing and hay making . field work with quad bikes and related agricultural equipment (hauling, fertilizing, etc.) . work with hand tools . other necessary work of similar nature for mountain agriculture . recording completed work in a work diary . operation of field vehicles . close cooperation with KRNAP Administration staff, especially project and territorial office employees Requirements: . experience in labor professions, forestry or agricultural work . good health status without restrictions . physical fitness for work in demanding mountain climate conditions, steep slopes, high proportion of manual work . Group B driver's license . independence, diligence and reliability . moral and civil integrity Advantages: . professional certificate or proof of completion of a course of appropriate scope for operating portable chainsaw motors, groups up to 15 cm and brush cutters . knowledge of Krkonoše territory . Group E, T driver's license We Offer: . appropriate financial remuneration based on meeting requirements, length of experience and education achieved per Government Regulation No. 341/2017 Coll., as amended, applicable to employees listed in §5 subsection 1, pay grade 5 + personal remuneration based on quality of work performed . full-time employment . employment contract will be concluded for a fixed term . diverse job scope in nature and landscape protection of the national park . benefits of state organization employees (e.g., meal voucher allowance, 5 days of health leave, ...) Most work is then situated across Krkonoše territory. . expected start date is August 24, 2026 (or by arrangement). . the employment contract will be concluded for a fixed term until November 30, 2026 with the possibility of renewal in subsequent years always from April 1 to November 30; in the final year of the project, the contract may be concluded until October 31, 2029 at the latest.
