About the jobVerdis collects source-sorted waste throughout Stockholm and Uppsala, and we are now looking for several positive and goal-oriented environmental workers with a C-license and YKB certification who can work full-time during the summer (May-September). As an environmental worker, you play a key role at Verdis. You are our face to the public and become one of our everyday heroes helping to keep Stockholm and Uppsala clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the cleaning assignments are performed in accordance with the company's procedures and our client's requirements. You report to the local work supervisor. Your work tasks include, among other things: - Collection and transport of source-sorted waste with rear-loader trucks - Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment - Incident reporting - Daily maintenance/inspection of vehicles and attachments, and washing them as needed - Submitting vehicles to the workshop as needed Who are you? We are looking for someone who: - Has a C-license with corresponding YKB certification - Speaks and writes Swedish fluently It is beneficial if you have: - Previous experience from similar work and/or have handled "two-chamber trucks" before - Knowledge of digital incident management This position suits you if you have good physical fitness and enjoy fast-paced, active work. You appreciate being outdoors and have no problem working in all weather conditions. As a person, you are service-minded with good collaboration skills and you have a solution-oriented approach. We also believe you are responsible and take pride in performing your work in a commendable manner.
