Vehicle Photographer / Car Spotter

Bilsmidigt is growing and is now looking for a vehicle photographer for our logistics center in Upplands Väsby. We're looking for someone who loves cars, has an eye for detail, and wants to work practically to present our vehicles in the best possible way for advertising and sales. NOTE! No previous photography experience is required and the position does not require you to be a professional photographer. You don't need photography training, experience with digital cameras, or prior work as a photographer. Photography is done with a mobile phone that we provide to you, following clear procedures and predetermined angles that we will teach you on site. If you have photography experience, car photography experience, or an interest in car spotting and photographing cars in your spare time, that is a merit. About Bilsmidigt Bilsmidigt is a rapidly growing digital car dealer that sells used cars throughout Sweden. Our customers can complete the entire car purchase online and have the car delivered directly to their home. At our logistics center in Upplands Väsby, we handle our vehicles from arrival through to completed listing and delivery. Photography is an important part of the process because the images are among the first things our customers see when looking at a car online. About the Role As a vehicle photographer, you are responsible for photographing our cars and ensuring they are presented in a consistent and professional manner for advertising and sales. You work according to Bilsmidigt's photography standard where each car is photographed from predetermined angles and where exterior, interior, equipment, and relevant details are documented. This is not about advanced studio photography or creating artistic images. What matters is that you are thorough, consistent, and efficient and can maintain the same high standard on every car. You are also responsible for managing the flow around photography. This means keeping track of which cars are ready for photography, driving them to the photo location, and ensuring photographed cars quickly move to the next stage. As a vehicle photographer, you therefore play an important role in both how our cars are presented and how quickly they can be published for sale. Work Tasks You will among other things: Drive cars forward Photograph our vehicles Document important details Photograph exterior and interior Follow our photography standard and procedures Check that the images meet the right quality Ensure all images are taken of each car Load and unload any extra wheels that belong to the car Park cars back in the correct location after photography Coordinate which cars are next in line for photography Maintain order at the photo location, car keys, and cars in the photography workflow We are looking for someone who Loves cars Learns quickly Has an eye for detail Has high work ethic Is punctual and takes responsibility Can follow clear procedures and instructions Is organized and can keep track of multiple cars Enjoys work where both quality and pace are important Can work independently and take responsibility for your own workflow Is comfortable with physical work and lifting and handling car wheels Most importantly, you are thorough, efficient, and consistent. Every car should be photographed according to the same standard and you therefore need to be someone who notices details and likes to deliver a good result every time.
