We are now seeking two specialist physicians – one for ASIH Huddinge and one for ASIH Botkyrka. About Us Aleris ASIH Huddinge and ASIH Botkyrka are two well-established and growing teams working on behalf of Region Stockholm. We care for patients with complex medical needs at home, often in palliative stages, combining advanced medical treatment with person-centered and palliative care. Both teams have their offices in Tullinge centrum. In each team, two specialist physicians already work, which means you will have several physician colleagues to collaborate with, discuss patient cases, and develop the operation together with. You will work closely with nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, dietitian, and care coordinator. Together we create safe and cohesive care based on the patient's needs and wishes. Your Role As a specialist physician in ASIH, you have medical overall responsibility for your patients. The specialist physicians, together with the unit manager, form the team's leadership, giving you good opportunities to influence both daily work and the operation's continued development. In the role you will, among other things: · provide advanced medical and palliative care in the patient's home · work closely with other specialist physicians and an experienced multiprofessional team · plan and follow the patient's care together with patient, relatives, and team · work with symptom and pain management as well as conversations with patients and relatives · mentor and guide colleagues and physicians in training · contribute to the development of work methods, quality, and patient safety. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for you who are a specialist physician in, for example, geriatrics, oncology, internal medicine, general medicine, or another relevant specialty. You do not need to be a specialist in palliative medicine when you start with us. The most important thing is that you have a genuine interest in advanced home-based healthcare and palliative care and want to continue developing in the field. We believe that you: · enjoy working in a team and appreciate close collaboration with other professions · are confident and independent in your physician role · have a warm and professional approach to patients and relatives · are committed, flexible, and solution-oriented · appreciate sharing knowledge while also learning from others. If you have experience from ASIH or palliative care, or are a specialist in palliative medicine, this is a merit.
