The State Social Care Center "ZEMGALE" (Reg. No. 40900035103) is the largest state provider of long-term social care and social rehabilitation services in Latvia. We are hiring a SOCIAL REHABILITATOR (profession code: 341202) at the "Ropaži" branch (1 position, full-time, for an indefinite period). We offer: social guarantees in accordance with state administration regulations; salary (gross) from EUR 851 – EUR 1220 depending on professional experience and competencies; remuneration during probation period up to EUR 870; 25% bonus to the fixed monthly salary for special risk; reduced working hours within normal working time (35 hours per week); work experience in state administration; additional leave for special risk (3 working days per year) and additional leave for annual review (from 4 - 10 working days per year); friendly, responsive, and professional colleagues; health insurance after 3 months of service. Key job responsibilities: conduct assessment of clients' social functioning; diagnose clients' social barriers, social status, values, and determine clients' social skills level; participate in an inter-professional team during clients' social rehabilitation process; participate in the development, implementation, and improvement of clients' individual social rehabilitation plans; conduct improvement of social skills and promotion of new skills under the guidance of a social worker. Requirements for candidates: short-cycle higher education in social rehabilitation or second-cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work, if also obtained short-cycle professional higher education and fifth-level professional qualification in social rehabilitation or first-cycle higher education in social work and social worker qualification, if during studies or professional development education process a part of study program related to social rehabilitation was completed in scope of at least four credit points or 160 hours; knowledge in the field of social rehabilitation, social care, healthcare issues, psychology and pedagogy; knowledge necessary for performing basic professional duties at the level of understanding; state language knowledge; work experience in the care field will be considered an advantage; valid electronic signature. We invite a SOCIAL CARE WORKER (profession code: 341201) to work at the "Ropaži" branch! Requirements for candidates: Social care worker qualification, short-cycle higher education in social care or second-cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work, if also obtained short-cycle professional higher education and fifth-level professional qualification in social care or first-cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work and social worker qualification, if during studies or professional development education a part of the study program related to social care was completed in a volume of at least four credit points or 160 hours; Desirable professional experience working with individuals with mental health disorders. Knowledge of regulatory acts related to the performance of job duties. Responsibility, accuracy, and honesty, ability to be client-oriented. Understanding of social care worker job responsibilities. Valid electronic signature. State language proficiency: higher level, 1st degree (C1). Main duties: Provide social care services to the branch's clients. Help clients improve existing and acquire new social skills. Inform and educate clients on matters related to their obligations and rights, as well as on the procedure for receiving social services. Ensure, at least once a year, functional assessment of clients and, in cooperation with social work specialists, develop an individual social care or social rehabilitation plan according to clients' social care or social rehabilitation needs. Ensure transparent reflection of information in client records about the progress of the social care process and make entries in client records about the progress of the social rehabilitation plan at least 1x per week. Implement clients' individual social care or social rehabilitation plans, modify and supplement them according to changes in the client's life situation. Help clients adapt to the social and physical environment, promote integration into society. Assess clients' personality, self-care abilities, physical and mental health status. Monitor changes in the mental state, behavior, and health status of clients under care. Inform the on-duty nurses, psychiatrists about changes and make entries in the client's record. Prepare and complete work documentation according to regulatory requirements and procedures established in the institution.
