Childcare Provider at Nygårdens Förskola

We are now seeking committed childcare providers who want to be part of our team at Nygårdens förskola during fall 2026 and spring 2027. The preschool opened in January 2025 and has been filled throughout the year with wonderful energy in the form of dedicated educators and curious children. At Nygårdens förskola, we will begin working with four educators per unit instead of three, which we refer to as our reinforced staffing model. This is to minimize the number of temporary substitute staff, to create a safe and educational environment where we have good relationships with the children and can enable quality education and teaching regardless of staff absences. In your role as a childcare provider, you may sometimes work in a different unit than the one you are assigned to. During your temporary assignment, you will work in an environment with many opportunities. Nygårdens förskola consists of six units when all are operational. From fall 2026, four units will be running, distributed across two floors. On each floor there is also a larger common room, called Regnbågen. There we can enable collaboration, community, and learning across units. Together we make a difference for the children! Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a trained childcare provider. If you have previous work experience from preschool and knowledge of AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), we see this as a merit. As a person, you are flexible and see collaboration across the entire preschool, as well as with other preschools in the area, as a matter of course. You communicate easily with children, educators, and guardians alike. We have a conscious approach to the compensatory mission, which means that no children are seen as problem-bearers and we work daily with clarifying pedagogy. Your New Workplace Nygårdens förskola is a newly built preschool in Lexby. The preschool has space for 6 units, currently 4 units are operational. Together with the preschool in Jonsered, we form a preschool area.
