I am a 40-year-old man with developmental disabilities, physical impairments, and no verbal speech. I need assistance with everything in my daily life to live a good life. I live in a ground-floor apartment in a quiet area near the center of Örkelljunga. I enjoy going on wheelchair rides and walking with my walker. Three days a week I attend a day activity program, and my personal assistant accompanies me there. I enjoy singing and music, and I ride horses once a week. We are seeking a personal assistant at approximately 60% employment on a rotating 4-week schedule. Personal suitability is very important to us. Education and experience are merits. The job is located in Finja. Our client is a 30-year-old woman with autism, intellectual disability, epilepsy, and ADHD. She communicates only through pictures. At her home, we work with low-affect interaction and careful structure to help her have a meaningful and functioning daily life. The work involves supporting her in her daily life through various activities, routines, and maintaining her home. Our client is interested in swimming, playing iPad, cooking, baking, and going on outings or just driving around in the car. She is active and has a fast pace, which is why it's important that you as an assistant are flexible and adaptable to make decisions and quickly adjust the day's planning. We are seeking two assistants for two positions at approximately 82 percent. One of the positions is a parental leave substitute. We are also seeking a substitute who can work as needed. The work follows a rotating schedule with day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. We have double staffing. The schedule includes both active night shifts and on-call night shifts. A driver's license and access to your own car are required to get to the workplace, which is located just outside Hässleholm. During work shifts, we use the client's own car.
