Personal Assistant Wanted – Trustworthy, Thoughtful, and Responsible

⭐️ We are looking for a personal assistant for a woman who needs support in her daily life. To thrive in this role, you need to be calm, attentive, thorough, and comfortable working closely with a person who has extensive medical needs. Personal suitability and the right personality are very important to us. Who are we looking for? • Calm, responsible, attentive, and thorough • Very committed to hygiene and follows hygiene routines • Comfortable working in a home environment and with a limited social context • Understand that the client is immunocompromised • Can work independently while following established routines and instructions • Enjoys music, TV series/movies, or creative activities • Comfortable working closely with a person who has extensive medical and physical needs • Good Swedish in speech and writing, as the work involves medical procedures and clear communication is essential We prefer candidates between 25–55 years old, but the most important thing is that you are suitable for the assignment and that we have good personal chemistry. 🩺 Medical Experience The client has several different medical needs, and experience with, for example, PEG/tube feeding, Pariboy, and suctioning is a merit. The work may also involve administering medication via PEG. 💪 Transfers and Exercise The work can be physically demanding. Transfers are done with a Turner lift, and experience using a Turner is a merit. You also need to be able to help with leg lifts and perform simple leg exercises and training according to given instructions. There are several assistive devices in the home, including Permobil, electric wheelchair, TENS, Motomed, shower chair, and toilet/bidet aids. ❤️‍🩹 An Important Part of the Assignment The client is immunocompromised, and it is important that you understand the precautions required. Public transportation is not used. You therefore need to be able to walk, cycle, or drive to and from work. Large crowds should be avoided, and it is important that you are comfortable spending a lot of time at home. We prefer that you do not have another job where you have close contact with many people, for example in home care services. This is because the client's immunocompromised status requires the lowest possible infection risk. After, for example, a vacation trip, extra precautions may need to be taken for a period, such as being alert to symptoms and using a mask according to current routines. 🐈 Pets and Allergies There is a Sphynx cat in the home. You therefore need to like or at least be comfortable with animals. In acute situations, you may need to help with the cats, but the primary responsibility for them lies with the client/work supervisor. Due to the client's allergies, you cannot use strong fragrances, and pets in other environments may need to be considered. Does this sound like an assignment for you?
