Accountant
What awaits you in the ACCOUNTANT position? - Processing routine accounting agenda for interconnected companies in accordance with current legislation (invoices received and issued, bank accounts, cash register and other accounting documents), - Recording and verification of accounting entries for individual companies, regular review of receivables and payables and their settlement, - Collaboration on VAT processing and other tax obligations, - Preparation of documentation for the tax advisor and collaboration on monthly and annual closings, - Collaboration on budget utilization review and cost tracking for individual companies, - Preparation of documentation for human resources and payroll operations (payroll processing itself is not currently required), - Collaboration with the sales department - information on invoice and payment status, review of documentation and contracts, monitoring of event budgets, - Collaboration on preparation of accounting and financial reports, - Administrative work - archiving accounting documents and correspondence, verification of authorization and license validity, - Collaboration on establishing new processes in the accounting area - digitalization, application of modern tools, proactive approach to finding more efficient procedures - Gradual assumption of independent tasks based on experience and knowledge. You won't be doing this alone - you'll be working with the chief accountant and tax advisor, who will provide you with professional support. What do we offer? - Employment on a primary employment contract for part-time work (20-30 hours per week) with the possibility of agreeing on work schedule arrangement considering the need to balance work and family life, - Monthly salary after training 17,500 - 30,000 CZK gross depending on the employment rate (0.5 - 0.75) and based on your knowledge, experience and practice, - Stable background of an established company operating on the market for 34 years, - Quality training and ongoing support from the chief accountant and tax advisor, - Opportunity for regular training, - Pleasant working environment at a workplace in the center of Olomouc, - Employee benefits - meal contribution, free admission to cultural events and more, - Start possible from September 2026 - first employment contract for a fixed period with the possibility of extension for an indefinite period. We require: - Good orientation in accounting and basic knowledge of tax issues, - Accounting experience of at least 1-2 years; the position is also suitable for an active graduate of an economics program, - Very good user knowledge of PC work, especially MS Excel and Word, - Interest in digitalization and modern accounting tools (knowledge a major advantage), innovativeness and ability to actively seek and propose more efficient procedures, - Attention to detail and carefulness, - Independence and responsible approach, - Logical and analytical thinking, - Communicativeness and willingness to learn, - Secondary education in economics; higher education an advantage. Knowledge of common accounting cases and PC work will be verified by a practical test.
