It is important that you have a professional approach and are attentive and flexible to clients' needs and wishes. The work tasks are varied and can include personal care, assistance, and being available to help. Working hours vary between day, evening, and night shifts. You should be 30 years or older with good physical fitness—strong back, arms, and legs—and be able to walk long distances since I spend a lot of time outdoors. I also prefer someone who is practical, flexible, and ideally fearless. You must have strong Swedish language skills. I am now 72 years old and live with my partner in Botkyrka. I use a Permobil wheelchair in my daily life both indoors and outdoors. I have ceiling lifts in my bedroom and bathroom so there are no heavy manual lifting tasks, but I need help with exercise, showering, meals, shopping, and much more that comes with daily living. My interests include art in all its forms and expressions, and I enjoy visiting museums and other events. My greatest passion is my potted plants and my patio where things grow and bloom, so it would be helpful if you shared this interest since my home comes first. You will work as a part-time employee on day, evening, and occasionally night shifts. This means you can step in with short notice and cover for regular staff during illness and vacation.
