JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a substitute in adapted primary school, you are the student's helping hand to achieve learning goals and serve as a link between the classroom teacher and the student. You provide support to students that creates a meaningful school day based on each individual student's own abilities. You will actively participate in the adapted primary school and after-school care program and work with students who have many different functional variations, both intellectual and physical, such as autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, epilepsy, and challenging behaviors. In your work, you will use various types of physical aids to help students train their bodies, assist with dressing and undressing, toilet visits, and during mealtimes. You will support and guide students in teaching and other activities during the school and after-school day. Since the operation requires continuity, you need to be able to work 3-5 days per week Monday-Friday. The work day starts early in the morning. Standard time is 07:00 but we have shifts starting as early as 06:00.
