Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer for the Faculty of Health Studies in Dental Hygiene

POSITION OVERVIEW: Teaching activities, primarily lectures, examinations, seminars and practical classes including preparation of study materials and course resources; supervision of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral theses in the fields of stomatology and preventive dentistry; participation in examination boards and state final examinations; creative activities, particularly independent research and development work with significant importance for the advancement of the respective scientific field; creative coordination of national or international projects, scientific and research tasks in stomatology and preventive dentistry; involvement in activities securing research funding (grant writing, submissions, and contractual collaboration opportunities); participation in project implementation as principal or co-investigator; publication activities and professional development; responsibility for selected foundational theoretical courses as required by program accreditation standards and based on qualifications and education. EDUCATION AND SKILLS: Completed master's degree in stomatology, preventive dentistry, dental hygiene, public health, or a related health field; habilitation in stomatology, preventive dentistry, dental hygiene, public health, or a related health field; extensive professional and publication record in the field; pedagogical education or teaching experience; Czech language at native speaker level; English language at C1 level (may be verified during the interview); clean criminal, civil, and moral record; independence and responsibility. EMPLOYMENT: 20% position (8 h/week); employment contract for a fixed term until October 31, 2029 with possibility of renewal. START DATE: November 1, 2026 or by agreement. COMPENSATION: Salary grade A4, expected salary: 25,000 Kč/month; possibility of personal allowance after probation period based on performance evaluation.
