We are looking for a reliable, engaged, down-to-earth, and attentive personal assistant for a 57-year-old woman living with a neurological condition (PLS) that affects her muscle function. The client needs support in her daily life and is now looking for someone who can be her arms and legs. This is a position for you if you want long-term employment and enjoy building a good and secure relationship with the person you work for. About the Position This is a part-time job for just two fixed days per week – Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 AM–6:30 PM. The work is varied and involves supporting the client in her daily life. Your tasks will include: - Mobility assistance - Personal hygiene - Cooking and meal preparation - Taking walks with the client and her dog - Other daily chores - Being a support and source of security in the client's daily life - Communication and personality are important The client does not communicate verbally but uses her keyboard to write what she wants to convey. It can sometimes take a while for her to express herself. We are therefore looking for someone with great patience who can wait for the client without rushing her. You need to be attentive, observant, and genuinely interested in understanding what she wants to say.
