The state limited liability company HOSPITAL "ĢINTERMUIŽA" invites a Clinical and Health Psychologist specializing in sand therapy to join our team at the children's day care center. Main Responsibilities 1. Provide psychological consultation: identify and assess the patient's mental processes, states, and personality characteristics using sand therapy methods, as directed by the team leader—a child psychiatrist. 2. Analyze and interpret consultation results, prepare reports on consultation findings, provide feedback, and offer recommendations. 3. Document consultations in medical records (including electronic records) in accordance with established medical document management requirements. 4. Promote collaboration between the patient, their caregiver, and healthcare professionals, fostering engagement and treatment effectiveness. Expectations of Candidates 1. Higher education; master's degree in psychology; psychologist qualification. 2. Certificate from the Latvia Psychologists Certification Board certifying the right to independently perform professional psychological work in the field of clinical and health psychology. 3. Certificate issued by the Latvia Sand Play Therapy Association certifying knowledge, skills, and competence in applying sand play therapy methods in professional practice. 4. Certificate demonstrating specialized knowledge in child protection (preferred). 5. Knowledge, skills, and competencies: 5.1. State language proficiency in accordance with the requirements of the laws of the Republic of Latvia (C1 level), 5.2. Knowledge and skills in working with computers and information technology, 5.3. Strong communication and collaboration skills. 6. Personal qualities: 6.1. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, 6.2. Responsible and positive attitude toward work, 6.3. Orientation toward clients, solutions, and results. 7. Compliance with the requirements of Article 72 of the Child Rights Protection Law. We Offer 1. No. 40003407396) invites you to join our medical rehabilitation specialist team in a 24-hour inpatient facility ART THERAPIST with specialization in visual and plastic arts Expectations from the candidate: Professional Master's degree in healthcare and art therapy qualification. Certificate issued by the Union of Professional Organizations of Healthcare Professionals of Latvia, confirming independent practice competence in the art therapy specialty. Registration in the State Register of Healthcare Professionals in the art therapy specialty. Ability to responsibly organize your own work and work in an interprofessional team. Good communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. State language proficiency in accordance with the requirements of the laws of the Republic of Latvia at C1 level. Ability to use modern information technology for documentation, communication, and information processing. Key responsibilities: Independently conduct patient/client assessment and evaluation, assess abilities and resources that can be used in the therapy process. Plan and implement art therapy process, applying various therapy methods, the selection of which is based on their effectiveness, availability, and individual suitability. Evaluate therapy outcomes. Participate in multiprofessional rehabilitation team work, collaborate with other team members. Document the therapy process in accordance with medical record management requirements.
