Hägerstensåsens School is an F-6 school with approximately 540 students and 80 committed staff members. The school is centrally located on Hägerstensåsen with proximity to both nature and green areas. Each class is staffed with one teacher and two collaboration pedagogues, which provides good opportunities for collaboration, relationship building and individualized support. Your Role As an after-school teacher you will work in lower grades (F-3). Currently the position is placed in grade 3. You will have a central role in planning, implementing and developing meaningful after-school activities that stimulate students' learning, creativity and social development in accordance with the curriculum's goals. You will become part of an engaged work team consisting of three classroom teachers and five experienced childcare workers. With us you will meet competent colleagues, good team spirit and a strong focus on student development. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for someone who has basic teacher training for after-school programs. A focus on physical education is a merit, as is experience leading development work and mentoring or developing colleagues. Other Information This is a permanent full-time position. You work with a calm approach in your interactions with students. You are a responsible and clear educator with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
