Welcome to us Are you driven by creating positive and lasting change in young people's lives? HVB Pilen for assessment and emergency placements is growing and we are looking for two social workers. During 2026, HVB Pilen for assessment and emergency placements will expand its operations and offer six places, of which two will be assessment places. The service is aimed at young people who need rapid 24-hour placement, or where the need for care and support needs to be assessed so that the placing social service can make well-founded decisions about further interventions. Our young people are between 13 and 19 years old and most live with us for a period of one night up to two months. The work team will consist of social workers, social pedagogues working day/evening/weekend, treatment assistants working night shifts, an administrative assistant, group leaders and a unit manager. This also includes the neighboring facility HVB Linden. The team at HVB Pilen for assessment and emergency placements may also staff HVB Linden as needed. The facilities are located in Svedmyra. Your role As a social worker, you have a central and significant role in creating a safe, structured and predictable daily life for the young people at HVB Pilen for assessment and emergency placements. During the year, the service will start two assessment places where we see that you, together with your colleagues, will have an active role in building up the assessment service. Since the service is new, you will also be involved in shaping and developing the assignment where working methods, procedures and areas of responsibility are developed jointly. The content of the position may therefore be adjusted over time based on the service's needs and development. Your tasks include: conduct investigative and treatment conversations as part of the assessment material on behalf of the placing social service. work motivationally based on each young person's individual needs. be the treatment coordinator/contact person for one or more young people, with responsibility for documentation, implementation plans and follow-up. coordinate and follow up interventions in cooperation with guardians, social services, school, BUP and other relevant stakeholders. provide support to young people in schoolwork, daily routines, leisure activities and relationship building. actively participate in daily life through activities such as cooking, exercise, homework help and other leisure activities. be responsible for and work according to the care plan established by the placing social service. The position involves working according to a rotating schedule with day, evening and weekend shifts. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: a degree in social work (socionomexamen) current and at least two years of experience in exercising authority with children and young people. experience with documentation work good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written It is meritorious if you have experience working at a residential care home or in other equivalent operations. Knowledge of BBIC (The Child's Needs in Focus), low-affect interaction and trauma-informed care is seen as a great advantage. Previous experience of treatment work, family treatment or substance abuse care is also meritorious, as is training in neuropsychiatry. We also value experience in conducting child interviews and family conversations as well as cooperation with BUP.
