Pedagogy Assistant
Who are we looking for? We are primarily looking for a reliable and empathetic person with a positive attitude toward children and young people who can collaborate with teachers while sensitively supporting students in their education. We require professional qualifications as a pedagogy assistant: • Secondary education with graduation exam in a field focused on pedagogical preparation, or • Secondary education with graduation exam in another field supplemented by appropriate study for pedagogy assistants. We would welcome a person who is: • Reliable, independent, and responsible, • Patient and respectful in communication with students, • Ready to collaborate with teachers and other members of the school team, • Open to new ideas and further education. This position is also suitable for recent graduates of pedagogical fields. Who are we? We are Gymnázium Jana Amose Komenského in Dubí, a long-established institution. For more than 35 years, we have provided students with general education culminating in a graduation exam. An advantage of our school is our classes with lower student numbers, which allows us to give greater attention to each student. We are not a traditional school. We love learning. We do not view the pedagogy assistant as an extra person in the classroom, but as an important part of the team that together creates conditions for our students' education.

Position Details: 0.5 FTE on a fixed-term contract with a four-month probation period for both parties; upon mutual satisfaction, the employment relationship may be extended. Work Location: Clinics in Teplice and Dubí, field work in ORP Teplice and ORP Bílina. Salary upon completion of probation period: up to 45,000 CZK per month for a full FTE according to qualifications and previous experience. We are recruiting for a 0.5 FTE position.
