Research and Development Specialist

The position will be filled based on a multi-round selection process. We require: - higher education in a master's degree program in geodesy and cartography, geoinformatics, or related fields - active knowledge of English, STANAG SLP 2222 or equivalent - minimum 5 years of experience in the fields of: geography, cartography, geoinformatics, or related fields - clean criminal record. An advantage is: - experience and knowledge in solving applied development tasks - advanced higher education - above-standard knowledge of the ArcGIS software environment - experience in geodesy, preferably with Official Authorization as a Surveying Engineer (ÚOZI) - experience in designing and developing software and information services in the fields of geography and cartography, preferably in Python environment - experience in designing and creating geographic information databases - published professional texts - knowledge of another world language. We offer: - fixed-term employment contract for 1 year with the possibility of converting to an indefinite employment contract - salary compensation in the 13th pay grade, salary tariff according to Government Regulation No. 564/2006 - reserved level of confidentiality - 5 weeks of vacation, 5 days of indisposition leave - use of FKSP, meals provided on-site - start date possible from September 1, 2026.
