We are now seeking a driven and engaged communications officer who wants to help create the best possible communication for Bjuvs kommun's residents, visitors, and other stakeholders. With us, you'll get an exciting and varied communications role that spans the full breadth of the municipality's operations, from strategic communication work to concrete daily initiatives.
As a communications officer at Bjuvs kommun, you'll become part of an engaged team working with both internal and external communication. We support managers and operations in communication matters, develop the municipality's channels, and work to create clear, accessible, and relevant communication that makes real value for residents, employees, and collaboration partners.

WORK TASKS
You have a broad and varied role where you work both strategically and operatively. You participate in planning, developing, and implementing communication initiatives that support operations' goals and make it easier for our target audiences to find, understand, and access information.
You are responsible for the municipality's external website, bjuv.se, and our internal intranet pages. You also contribute to developing the municipality's presence on social media and other digital channels, with a focus on the right content in the right channel for the right audience.
Visual communication is an important part of the assignment. You work with the entire process, from idea and planning to production, editing, and publishing. You create content in various formats and adapt it according to channel and target audience. Moving images are an important tool for telling the story of the municipality's operations, creating engagement, and making information and complex issues easier to understand.
In this role, you will, among other things
• develop and manage content on the website and intranet with a focus on user-friendliness, accessibility, and target group value
• plan, produce, and publish content in the form of text, photos, video, and graphics for the municipality's various digital channels
• create simple printed materials and other communication materials
• write press releases, news, and other target group-adapted texts
• develop communication plans and implement them through concrete communication initiatives
• support and train the operations' editors and provide advice on communication matters
• identify communication needs in the operations and convert them into clear and relevant communication
• contribute to the municipality's work on employer branding, change communication, and crisis communication.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with higher education in communication, media and communication science, journalism, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
You have experience with qualified communication work and have worked with both strategic and operative communication matters.
You have good knowledge of digital communication and experience creating content for websites, intranets, and social media.
We see that you have experience with
• web publishing and development of digital channels, with a focus on user-friendliness and accessibility
• social media, film production, and visual communication
• working in Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent
• planning, leading, and coordinating communication initiatives in a larger organization
• providing support, advice, and communication guidance to managers and operations
• adapting messages and content for different target audiences, channels, and communication needs.
