HR & Payroll Manager

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Manager who wants to take broad responsibility for personnel administration and payroll management in our operations in Åstorp. This is not a purely administrative HR role. We are looking for someone who is very comfortable with numbers, enjoys checking, analyzing and following up, and reacts quickly when something doesn't add up. About the Role You will have a central role between personnel, managers, finance, and company leadership and will be responsible for ensuring that our HR and payroll processes function correctly and efficiently. Your main responsibilities include: Ongoing payroll management and payroll administration Review and reconciliation of payroll records Working time, schedules, absence, vacation, overtime, on-call compensation and other benefits Review of time reports and discrepancies Tracking and analysis of personnel costs and hours worked Verification that salaries, allowances and deductions are correct Employment contracts, changes and terminations of employment Personnel administration and personnel records Sickness absence, rehabilitation and other personnel matters Employer certificates and other personnel-related documentation Onboarding and offboarding Support to managers and employees on HR and payroll matters Application of collective agreements and Swedish labor law Contact with authorities, labor organizations and external parties Reporting, statistics and monitoring within HR and payroll Continuous improvement of procedures, controls and working methods We are Looking for You Have several years of practical experience with Swedish payroll management Are very strong with numbers and analytical Have a very good understanding of how working time, salaries and personnel costs relate to each other Are used to performing reconciliations and finding errors or discrepancies Have excellent Excel skills Have good knowledge of Swedish labor law and collective agreements Are thorough and have strong control-oriented thinking Can work independently and take full responsibility for your areas of work Have very good Swedish in speech and writing Experience from manufacturing, food industry, warehousing or other labor-intensive operations is highly valued. Who Are You? You like numbers and details and are not satisfied with a system saying something is correct – you verify that it actually is correct. You have an easy time seeing connections between staffing, hours worked, absence, overtime and payroll costs and can identify discrepancies before they become problems. At the same time, you are comfortable in dealings with people and can handle both everyday personnel matters and more complex situations in a professional manner. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, follows up and ensures that things get completed.
