ALŪKSNES NOVADA PAŠVALDĪBAS Central Administration Registration code 90000018622 invites applications for the position of ACCOUNTANT - CASHIER for an indefinite period We invite you to join the Alūksnes novada pašvaldības team as a professional, reliable, and responsive colleague who will ensure quality cash operations and accounting procedures, and provide friendly and high-quality service to our municipality's residents and clients. Key job responsibilities: Cash operations management: accept cash payments from individuals and legal entities, make cash disbursements, and ensure cash withdrawal and deposits to the municipality's bank account. Document accounting: maintain and issue road signs; purchase, register, and account for numbered receipt books, preparing reports to the State Revenue Service (VID). Advance settlements and inventory: receive, verify, and record advance settlement reports from employees, and participate in annual municipal inventories. Required skills and knowledge: Higher education in accounting or economics (with specialization in financial and accounting management). Practical work experience in accounting. Excellent knowledge of regulatory acts governing accounting and economics. Good computer skills (Microsoft Office) and proficiency with office equipment and specialized accounting software. We expect you to have: High sense of responsibility, accuracy, and care when working with data and financial resources. Excellent customer service skills, friendly, open, and respectful communication. Constructive approach to conflict resolution and ability to work with different types of clients. Ability to work both as part of a team and to make responsible and independent decisions within your competence. We offer you: Monthly salary of 1062,00 EUR (gross), 90% of monthly salary during the probation period. Stable employment in a friendly and development-oriented team.
