Ref: 20262019 Agnesfrids gymnasium is seeking a vocational instructor to teach automotive technology in our automotive and transportation program. Join us and contribute to the future of Malmö residents and society. Duties As a vocational instructor, you work to help students develop their full potential—both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet knowledge requirements based on their abilities, preparing them for their future professional role. Your work includes planning, teaching, assessment, and evaluation, as well as developing the educational activities in accordance with the school's governing documents. We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you will work in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you will work to create a good learning and work environment for both students and staff. You will also contribute to quality and development work at the school. Qualifications Requirements: Vocational instructor certification with authorization to teach character courses in the automotive and transportation program. Alternatively, completed education in the relevant subject/field at upper secondary or post-secondary level, which the employer deems relevant. Several years of current professional experience in the automotive technology field with excellent industry knowledge. Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy. Very good Swedish in speech and writing. Merits: Previous teaching experience in the automotive and transportation program. Experience in teaching and/or mentoring. You adapt instruction to students' and groups' abilities and prior knowledge through a creative approach and excellent pedagogical skills. Your work style is characterized by good structure, and you prioritize and organize tasks efficiently. You also contribute to strong collaborations and communicate openly, clearly, and thoughtfully with those around you. You understand how students' backgrounds, cultures, and prior experiences affect learning and interaction, and you create an inclusive learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. About the Workplace Agnesfrids gymnasium is a small school with strong community. We offer both upper secondary and adult education in vocational and introductory programs for students interested in electrical work, technology, automotive, and transportation. Teaching takes place in professional facilities where service, repairs, maintenance, and installations are taught.
