Your Tasks The gymnasiums in Halmstad Municipality aim to offer students extensive options; therefore, we have high standards for having the right personnel in the right positions. A teacher working with us should be well-educated and have strong commitment to their subjects. Kattegattgymnasiet is now seeking a teacher for the Electrical and Energy Program. You will teach basic electrical subjects within the program. Examples of subjects that may be included in the position are Electrical Theory, Communication Networks, Installation Technology, Automation Subjects, and Building Systems. Based on your experience and qualifications, we will shape the position. Beyond teaching, the position involves working with students' APL (Workplace-Based Learning). APL work includes contact with workplaces and supervisors, visits, and assessments. You will plan, implement, and evaluate instruction. You will assess students' achievement of learning goals and communicate this with students. You will also participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues. Your Qualifications We are primarily seeking someone who is a trained teacher with pedagogical experience at the gymnasium level, but we also highly value your professional experience in your subject areas. You are driven to work and develop together with your colleagues and want to create the absolute best conditions for students to reach their goals. You have the ability to build good relationships with young people, are outgoing, socially active, and comfortable communicating in various contexts related to the industry, as this role requires extensive industry contact. It is a merit if you have a large network within relevant industries.
