Movant is now seeking a vocational instructor in flooring installation for our operations at the Österåker correctional facility. Here you will have the opportunity to use your professional experience in a new way – by educating, supporting, and inspiring people on their way into the workforce. If you also have experience with tile setting, that's an additional plus.
About the Role
As a vocational instructor at Movant, you will share both your practical and theoretical knowledge in flooring installation. You will support participants in their development, provide feedback, and help them build both professional skills and confidence in their own abilities.
The work takes place at Österåker correctional facility and involves working in a secure environment. The role suits you if you enjoy working with people, are confident in yourself, and are motivated by seeing others develop.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for you who:
have a vocational certificate as a flooring installer
have strong practical and theoretical knowledge within the profession
have experience mentoring or training people over 16 years old, such as apprentices
enjoy sharing your professional knowledge and developing others
are flexible, collaborative, and skilled at building relationships.
If you have experience with tile setting, that is a merit. A teaching degree is not required, but is seen as a plus. Previous teaching experience or work within correctional services, SiS, or forensic psychiatry is also a merit.
