JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to make it easier for people to find, understand, and use the municipality's information? Then you are warmly welcome to join us! We are seeking a web editor for our communications team. You will have an important role managing Lerum Municipality's external websites and internal channels with residents and employees in focus. You will help shape how the municipality communicates digitally. You are driven by making information understandable, relevant, and easy to find. You will work both operationally and developmentally with our websites together with a web-responsible communicator. This includes, among other things: • producing, editing, quality-assuring, and publishing content • developing and structuring content based on user needs • working with plain language, tone, and audience adaptation • ensuring that content is accessible and complies with applicable legal requirements and guidelines • working with searchability, SEO, GEO, and content optimization • supporting departments in their digital communication and serving as an advisor on web matters • contributing to development and larger web projects • using AI and other digital tools to support content production, analysis, and development QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a university degree in media and communication studies, journalism, web, digital communication, or other education that the employer considers relevant. You have experience with similar roles and tasks and are familiar with working in various CMS systems. We also believe that you: • are a very skilled writer and can make complex information simple, clear, and relevant • have a strong user perspective and think about what the recipient needs to know and do • have a good understanding of web publishing, CMS, and information structure • have knowledge of web accessibility, WCAG, and the requirements for public digital services • understand the basics of SEO, GEO, and how people search for and find information • can adapt content for different target audiences, channels, and situations • are thorough and quality-conscious, have an eye for detail, and can maintain the overall perspective at the same time • are used to working independently and taking responsibility for completing tasks • can collaborate with many different professions and departments and are good at supporting others and making them feel included It is advantageous if you have: • experience working with web in a municipality, government agency, or other politically governed organization • experience with Sitevision or another established CMS • experience with UX writing or user-centered content work • experience with Adobe Creative Cloud • experience with photography, film, and basic video editing • experience using generative AI in a conscious, secure, and quality-aware manner in communications work • experience working as a communicator For us, it is important that you are a person who fits our team and the role.
