About the position
As Production Manager, you ensure that operations meet set targets regarding quality, delivery precision, productivity, and safety. The role involves close collaboration with production, planning, maintenance, and quality functions to create an efficient and well-functioning operation.
You report to the Production Manager and have personnel responsibility for employees within your production area.
Your responsibilities
As Production Manager, you have overall responsibility for daily operations within your production area. You lead, plan, and follow up on production to ensure that operations meet set targets for quality, productivity, delivery precision, and safety. In the role, you actively work to optimize the use of personnel, machinery, and materials, and you monitor production results, efficiency, scrap, and any operational disruptions. You are also involved in troubleshooting and problem-solving when challenges arise in production.
An important part of the role is to lead and develop employees within your area of responsibility. You create engagement through present leadership and are responsible for onboarding, competence development, and employee conversations. You contribute to a positive work environment where clarity, collaboration, and accountability are a natural part of everyday life.
You also ensure that production is conducted in accordance with applicable quality requirements, workplace regulations, and safety regulations. As Production Manager, you drive continuous improvement work by analyzing key metrics, identifying development opportunities, and implementing measures that strengthen operational efficiency and profitability. The role involves close collaboration with, among others, planning, quality, and maintenance, and you also participate in development and investment projects that contribute to the company's continued development.
Qualifications
We would like you to have:
Secondary education, preferably with a technical or industrial focus.
Experience from manufacturing industry.
Experience in supervisory, team leadership, or similar leadership role.
Good understanding of production control and production monitoring.
Knowledge of quality, workplace environment, and safety work.
Good computer skills and experience with business systems or production systems.
Good proficiency in Swedish in speech and writing. English is a merit.
Duration
Permanent employment on a full-time basis, starting immediately or by agreement.
