We are now looking for an educator with a focus on health, language, and working life to teach and support individuals who are outside the job market and have weak language skills, within the framework of various initiatives commissioned by the City of Gothenburg.
About the Assignment
The purpose of these initiatives is generally to strengthen participants':
health and well-being
language and communication skills
basic digital competence
knowledge about working life and society
The goal is for participants to be able to move closer to the job market and actively participate in society.
The scope of initiatives varies over time and location.
The areas you will work with in your role as a health professional are:

Job Responsibilities
Your role will include:
mapping participants' health and identifying factors that affect it,
together with participants, planning changes that can improve their well-being,
implementing activities such as walks, short gym sessions, and study visits,
creating individual health profiles and personal health programs that motivate a healthier lifestyle,
inspiring participants toward positive lifestyle changes.
You will work closely with participants and help create motivation, security, and hope for the future.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who:
has a bachelor's degree in health sciences or equivalent,
has several years of work experience, preferably in education, health, or integration,
enjoys collaborating in teams and meeting people with foreign backgrounds and needs,
has patience, structure, and a strong ability to build relationships,
has strong digital competence.
It is a merit if you have experience with:
working with people with low literacy,
adult education
speaking Somali, Arabic, or Persian (not required).
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
You need to be relationship-building, solution-oriented, and flexible to thrive in the role.
Employment Terms
Scope: Fixed-term position lasting 16 weeks. Hours: 5 days/week at 2 hours/day. We are also seeking hourly employees who can work as needed.
Start Date: Week 36
Agreement: According to collective agreement between Almega and the trade unions Swedish Teachers and Vision
Vacation: Vacation with 30 days of vacation entitlement
Working Hours: flexible working hours agreement for teachers
