We're now hiring a driven inspection technician for Kalmar!
ABOUT THE POSITION
As an inspection technician in Kalmar, you will perform impartial vehicle inspections based on the requirements set by Swedish authorities. You'll inspect everything from the vehicle's general condition to emissions, environmental impact, and safety requirements.
The role involves more than just conducting inspections! You'll be an important part of driving and developing the Kalmar station forward. We'd like you to be someone who takes initiative, brings ideas to the table, and sees opportunities to improve our work processes, customer experience, and station operations.
Your thoughts and suggestions are valuable, and you'll have the opportunity to influence how we develop the station together and create even better operations, attracting more customers of course!
Your role is also crucial for ensuring high customer satisfaction. You'll meet our customers every day and are responsible for providing professional service, building trust, and ensuring customers have a positive experience with us. Our goal is for customers to be satisfied with both our products and services and feel that we're their obvious choice in the future.
Our customers visit us during daytime hours, Monday–Friday, typically between 07.00–17.00.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who is curious, service-oriented, and trustworthy. You communicate easily, take responsibility, and are driven by doing good work with high quality.
Since you'll also have the opportunity to help develop the station, you need to be initiative-taking and enjoy coming up with ideas and improvement suggestions. You see possibilities and want to help us work smarter, provide even better service, and build a strong station together.
To thrive and succeed in this role, you need a strong interest in vehicles, experience from the service industry, and confidence in customer interactions. To become a certified inspection technician, you'll complete training. This training will take place in Stockholm in the fall over 6 weeks, and you'll be able to go home on weekends (DEKRA covers travel costs). You'll receive a salary during the entire training period.
Since the training is intensive, we see that you have good learning ability and feel motivated to acquire new knowledge.
You have completed upper secondary school education and a B-class driver's license for manual transmission.
