Do you want a job where you get to be close to young people, build relationships, and help create a safer everyday life? With us, you'll have work that both challenges and means something. A job where no two days are the same At Samskapa, we work with young people who need significant and close support in their daily lives. Our LSS activities are aimed at young people within disability group 1. With us, you'll meet young people for whom other interventions haven't always been enough. The assignments can be complex and require both experience, perseverance, and the ability to think creatively. For many of the young people, everyday life can also be affected by, for example, neuropsychiatric conditions, anxiety, trauma, or previous experiences that have made it difficult to feel trust and security. As a care worker, you'll become an important part of the young people's daily lives. You'll be present during ordinary everyday moments and when things feel difficult. The goal is not to do things for the young people, but to work together with them to create conditions for development, participation, and independence. It might be a walk, an activity, a conversation at the kitchen table, or being there when a situation becomes challenging. It's often in these small moments that relationships are built and change begins. About the position We're looking for a care worker for our LSS activity for young people in Kristianstad. The position is approximately 86 percent and involves shift work on a 24-hour basis. In this role, you'll be involved in the young people's entire daily life. You'll support them in daily routines, join in activities, help with practical tasks, and provide support in social situations. You may also encounter situations where a young person becomes frustrated, anxious, or needs help managing strong emotions. An important part of the work is understanding what each young person needs for their day to function. This might involve creating clarity, preparing for changes, finding the right level of expectations, or providing extra support when things don't go as planned. You'll work based on the implementation plan and share collective responsibility with your colleagues for creating an environment where young people feel safe and have the opportunity to develop. Shift work means you need to be able to take responsibility during different parts of the day. You need to be able to work independently, make decisions in the moment, and know when you need to seek help from colleagues or your manager. Documentation and handover are important parts of creating continuity and quality in the work. We're looking for someone who has: • Education as a support pedagogue, social pedagogue, nursing assistant with an LSS focus, or equivalent qualification. • At least one year of experience with similar work with children and young people. • Knowledge and/or experience with low-arousal approaches and managing threats and violence. • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • B driver's license. We consider it a merit if you have: • Education or experience in neuropsychiatric conditions and the target group. • Knowledge of AAC, TAKK, or other clarifying pedagogical methods. • Basic knowledge of BBIC/IBIC. • Experience with documentation and record systems. Who are we looking for? We believe you're someone who enjoys working closely with other people and has a genuine interest in young people's development. You're confident in your approach and have the ability to adapt to the situation. You can be clear when needed, but also understand the value of giving space and letting things take time. You have patience and are prepared to build relationships over time. You understand that trust doesn't always come immediately and that it sometimes takes many small steps to get through. You're solution-focused and don't easily get discouraged when something doesn't go according to plan. When a situation doesn't work, you try to understand why and think about what you could do differently next time. The work also requires that you can collaborate. You share information with your colleagues, take responsibility for your part, and help create a shared understanding of the young people's needs and development. We offer you: • A safe start. You'll receive a well-planned introduction with follow-ups along the way. • Opportunity to develop. Both on a personal level and in your professional role. We offer training based on the activities' needs and what you want to improve. • Support when you really need it. You'll receive continuous supervision, close managerial support, and colleagues to bounce ideas off. • Collective agreement. You're covered by a collective agreement that gives you secure and clear employment terms. • Occupational pension. We offer an occupational pension as an important part of your employment and your future security. • 5000 kr in wellness allowance per year.
