JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an employee within Vimmerby municipality's Food and Facilities Services Unit, you will be part of a team but work largely independently where you will be responsible for your own facilities. Our common goal is to provide the best possible service to our customers. Together, we are responsible for keeping the municipality's properties clean and fresh. As a custodian, you are responsible for cleaning facilities used for municipal operations. The work includes all cleaning tasks within daily cleaning, basic cleaning and periodic cleaning of facilities. The job involves maintaining machines, cleaning materials and ordering supplies. It is performed in accordance with the municipality's cleaning procedures, with the aim of maintaining good cleaning quality and good ergonomics for a sustainable work environment. Cleaning is performed using both manual cleaning tools and machines.
In this position, you will be responsible for your own cleaning facilities where you work independently and ensure that the municipality's cleaning procedures are followed and that you deliver good service and high cleaning quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is responsible and organized with a strong sense of service. We would like you to have experience with facilities maintenance work, but it is not required. In this position, it is important that you are flexible and enjoy working in a varied environment. You have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others while enjoying working independently, where you plan and structure your work efficiently. You communicate and express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and customers.
B-class driver's license is a merit
