The Dermatology Clinic in Gävle is located in Tullhuset, just a few minutes' walk from the central station. We operate both outpatient and polyclinic surgical services and are a modern, well-equipped clinic that handles large patient flows. Here work around 40 employees such as doctors, nurses, nursing assistants and medical secretaries. We also have branch offices in Sandviken, Bollnäs, Söderhamn, Hudiksvall and Ljusdal. Together we also work actively on development to meet future care needs. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nursing assistant with us, you work independently while being part of a multidisciplinary team where different competencies work together to provide our patients with safe, efficient and high-quality care. The team consists of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants and medical secretaries - together we contribute with knowledge and commitment to meet patients' needs in the best way. Main responsibilities • assist doctors in connection with medical consultations • perform various skin treatments as prescribed by the doctor, including medical baths, wound care and light therapy • perform administrative tasks such as medical record keeping, test order requests, etc. You will be based at the dermatology clinic in Gävle but the position may involve travel to our branch offices. Furthermore, you maintain focus in pressured situations, can prioritize when the pace varies and have a solution-focused approach when challenges arise. For this role you should • be a trained nursing assistant • have experience working in the Cosmic medical record system. It is an advantage if you have experience in outpatient work and if you have experience working in the systems TeleQ and Clinic24. We look forward to your application! This means that you will need a certificate from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant within care and health services. You can apply for the certificate from July 1, 2023 onwards. If you don't have a certificate, you can continue to work in care and health services, but with a different title than nursing assistant. In Region Gävleborg, this means that the title in your employment contract will be Care Assistant until your certificate is submitted. Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
