Your work is characterized by responsibility, collaboration, and striving to provide the best possible care. As a nursing assistant with us, you safeguard our residents' self-determination, integrity, and participation, so that residents can feel well-being. We work together to provide the elderly with a meaningful and stimulating everyday life. You can expect varied tasks; assisting with meals, dressing and undressing, transfers, personal hygiene, accompaniment, walks, and providing a sense of security and breaking isolation. Service tasks include laundry, bed changing, shopping, and cleaning. Documenting the care and support you provide is an important part of daily work. The role also includes performing certain health and medical care tasks as delegated. Your Profile We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant, studying in a care program, or have education/experience that the employer considers equivalent. Previous experience working in special residential facilities is a merit, as is knowledge and/or experience working with people with dementia. You are accustomed to working with digital tools such as mobile phones, computers, or tablets and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to be able to document the care you provide and communicate with our residents. Since certain work tasks require good physical fitness, it is important that this requirement is also met. We expect you to have personal maturity and be both independent and service-oriented. You take responsibility, are flexible, and can handle stressful situations. You are proactive and responsive to residents' needs and show respect for other people. You work well with residents, families, colleagues, and other staff. About the Workplace Edshultsgården is a special residential facility for people with dementia where safety, care, and quality permeate everything we do. The facility consists of nine departments and accommodates a total of 73 places. There is also a department focused on somatic issues. We work in teams with broad expertise and a shared commitment to our residents. To ensure high quality care, we have support from roles such as quality leader, meal coordinator, and activity coordinator.
