JOB DUTIES
We are now seeking several locum physicians for temporary positions from February - August 2027. With us, you will either have a classic medicine locum where you rotate between departments and emergency care, or a locum where you instead rotate between outpatient clinic work and emergency care. Regarding the latter arrangement with outpatient clinic work and emergency care, we are seeking physicians for several of our sections: diabetes/endocrinology, rheumatology, and neurology. As a locum physician at the clinic, you will, under supervision, contribute to solving well-defined tasks. Regardless of which section you are placed in, we offer good orientation. Examples of tasks may include monitoring certain patient groups and medication treatments, prescription writing, and certain types of simpler outpatient clinic visits.
In Växjö, there are good opportunities to commute from places outside the region. We also offer relocation services which include a number of services designed to make it easier to establish yourself as a newcomer to Kronoberg. QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone who has a medical degree and is interested in one of the mentioned locum positions. We are happy to employ you if you are before your AT (Assistantläkare period) as our experience is that the assignment works well even for a physician who is not yet licensed. Our experience is also that these locum positions are AT-qualifying. Prior experience from locum positions within a Department of Medicine or primary care is a merit and will facilitate your orientation. Physician licensure is of course no obstacle.
