The Department of Children and Education organizes 53 preschools, 27 primary schools, and one secondary school with three units plus a number of shared units such as special education. Together we are approximately 3700 employees.

We are now seeking a substitute teacher in electric bass and ensemble for a 40% position until June 11, 2027.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a substitute teacher in electric bass and ensemble, you will teach secondary-level students with a main focus on pop and rock. You plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction and create good conditions for students to develop both individually and together in ensemble.
Part of the instruction is practice-oriented and students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge through various performances. You are therefore involved in planning, preparing, and conducting concerts and other musical events, both in the school's facilities and at the theater.
Working hours vary and work in the evenings and weekends occurs in connection with, for example, concerts, rehearsals, and other events.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has a teaching degree with authorization to teach at the secondary level. You have work experience teaching electric bass and ensemble at the secondary level, with a focus on pop and rock. You also need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you have experience from the music industry.
To succeed in the role, you need to be confident and clear in your leadership and have the ability to create good relationships. You adapt your approach to different needs and circumstances and create structure and security in the group. Since you will be part of a work team, you also need to have good collaboration skills and contribute to a shared responsibility for students' development.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
