Job Description
With us, you'll become an important part of the diagnostic process, especially within cancer care. The work is varied and combines practical laboratory work with quality, technology, and development.
Depending on your experience and the operation's needs, you may work with:
• handling and preparation of tissue and cell samples.
• laboratory work in histology and cytology.
• manual and automated analysis methods.
• digital workflows and modern equipment.
• development and improvement of the laboratory's processes and methods.
• quality monitoring and method development.
• close collaboration with colleagues from multiple professional groups throughout the analysis chain.
We work in an operation where development is moving forward rapidly. New analysis methods, digitalization, and modern technology create better conditions for fast and secure diagnostics – and you'll become part of that development.
At the same time, our core operations depend on a stable and efficient flow every day. A large number of samples pass through the laboratory, and each sample represents a patient waiting for answers. That's why it's important that we work together in a structured way, maintain a good pace, and take responsibility for quality at every step of the process.
With us, you need to thrive in an operation where production, precision, and patient focus go hand in hand. We help each other maintain high quality, meet our response times, and ensure that every sample is handled with care and respect.
About You
• you are a licensed biomedical analyst, hold a degree in medical biology or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• you have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• you work carefully/in a structured manner and with quality awareness.
• you thrive both in independent work and in collaboration with others.
• you are flexible and easily switch between different tasks.
• you contribute with positive energy and a solution-focused approach.
