About the Workplace
The Faculty of Arts Library consists of libraries at the School of Music and the School of Art/School of Theater. The unit is organizationally placed under the Faculty of Arts administration. Four employees work with us providing library services to the faculty's staff and students.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are now seeking a substitute librarian at 75%. Since we are a small unit, great flexibility in work tasks is necessary. The work includes service and support primarily to students, teachers, and researchers at the three schools, standard library work, and work with our digital and print collections with special responsibility for e-media. Providing education-integrated support in information literacy to students at undergraduate and advanced levels at the faculty is also part of the responsibilities, as is providing information services at the two physical libraries.
Qualifications
For employment, the following are required:
-A degree at the bachelor's level or higher in Library and Information Science or equivalent academic librarian training
-At least two years of experience working at a college library, university library, special library, or equivalent. It is a requirement that you have at least one year of experience working with e-media. You also need experience working in a pedagogical manner.
-Experience with and ability to quickly learn digital tools and resources.
-Good communication and collaboration skills.
-Responsible and flexible—a team player who works well with others.
-A strong sense of quality and service.
-A pedagogical approach.
-Excellent language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Desirable:
-Subject knowledge in music, art, and theater.
-Interest in promoting reading.
-Experience with cataloging in LibrisXL.

The Faculty of Arts in Malmö is one of nine faculties at Lund University and consists of the School of Art, School of Music, School of Theater, and Inter Arts Center.
