We are now looking for reliable and stable hourly substitutes who want to work in our various personal assistance assignments.
As an hourly substitute with us, you will be introduced and trained with one or more of our clients. This means we will contact you when the need for a substitute arises, which often happens with short notice. You are booked for one work shift at a time.
What does the job involve?
As a personal assistant, you help and support a person in their daily life. Our clients are of different ages and have different needs, which means that the work tasks vary between different assistance assignments.
This can include:
assisting with personal care and transfers
providing support, structure and guidance in daily life
accompanying to school, work, activities or other errands
cooking and helping with household chores
being available for support and reassurance during the day or night
medication delegation occurs in several assignments
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is responsible, confident, attentive and flexible. Since you will be working for several different clients, you need to be able to adapt to different people, routines and work methods.
Above all, we are looking for you who want to be a recurring and stable substitute with us and who have the ability to step in when regular assistants are sick, on leave or when other needs arise.
Experience in personal assistance or other care work is a merit, but personal chemistry and the right attitude are equally important.
You need to be able to speak and understand Swedish well since as a personal assistant you sometimes help the client to communicate in different situations.
About the employment
This is a needs-based employment (hourly substitute) where you are booked for one work shift at a time. You indicate yourself in our booking system which days and times you are available.
Working hours vary and can be scheduled for day, evening, night and weekends. The length of work shifts varies depending on the client's needs, it can range from shorter daytime shifts to 24-hour shifts with standby time, or awake nights.

Since 2011, Rullarnas has had authorization from IVO, the Inspectorate for Health and Care, to provide personal assistance. Rullarnas' goal is to provide both clients and staff with the best possible conditions to feel secure in their roles. Rullarnas' vision is to offer more clients personal assistance of high quality where the personal assistants' competence and development are highly prioritized. Rullarnas shall arrange personal assistance in accordance with LSS intentions and be committed to providing assistance of the highest quality and always respect the client's wishes and the employees' employment conditions.
In the event of employment, you must show an extract from the criminal records register and documentation proving your right to work in Sweden (passport, national ID or identity certificate with driver's license).
If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA or Switzerland, a work permit or permanent residence permit is required.
