We are now recruiting additional substitute caregivers for our Östervik facility. We offer training and a rewarding position where you make a real difference! About the Group Home Östervik is located at the entrance to Stockholm, an archipelago oasis approximately 15 minutes from Slussen. The facility houses 6 residents, client category 1, Section 9 Paragraph 9 LSS. Residents live in their own apartments with beautiful common areas and access to a patio and natural surroundings. Pleasant staff facilities including office, kitchen, and on-call room. About the Role As a residential support worker, you base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Working together with other team members, you aim to make each day meaningful and fulfilling. You provide support and guidance with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is stimulating and motivating residents to develop their abilities and creating opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning according to care plans. Working hours include daytime, evening, weekends, and on-call shifts with overnight stay. You will have a coordinator nearby who spends part of their time at the facility. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. Your Experience and Knowledge You have a secondary education in healthcare and social services or equivalent qualification. You have good Swedish language skills both spoken and written, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is a merit if you have experience working with this client group. Beyond that, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and help you grow.
