Omtanken Assistans provides personal assistance for individuals with disabilities who have been granted assistance under LSS or SFB. We strive to be an organization where everyone thrives—customers, family members, and staff alike. To achieve this, we focus on quality over quantity. We want everyone at Omtanken to feel a sense of community, which is why we maintain close collaboration at all levels. We are now seeking substitute caregivers who can work when regular staff take vacation or during unplanned short-term absences such as illness. You will be working for a woman with a neurological condition who needs assistance with all aspects of her daily life. This includes transfers, personal hygiene, meal preparation, household management, and participation in various activities such as day programs and bathing. Working hours include both long and short day shifts as well as overnight shifts. Some of the time involves working as part of a two-person assistance team. The client prefers only female caregivers in her care team. Experience as a personal assistant or in healthcare is an advantage, but the primary emphasis will be placed on personal compatibility.
